Wishing You A Joyful Holiday and Peace in the New Year!

Dear Blogstresses,

It's been a transition time for the network and we will be regrouping in the coming month or so.  We appreciate your patience and your interactions with our Facebook page and on Twitter.

As we approach the end of the year it's a time to reflect and to look forward.  In reflection we see our members are primarily writers, designers and bloggers of generous spirit.  Looking forward we want to grow the network and continue to share our collective knowledge.

Here's our wish list for 2012:

1)  Guest Posts from all of you.  Don't be shy!

2)  Our first conference, perhaps... live or virtual.  More info to follow.

3)  Sponsorships.  We will be posting guidelines and rates for Advertisers and Sponsors and your suggestions are welcome!

4)  More interviews and features.

5)  Your continued support.

In the meantime our wish for all of you is a Joyful and Peaceful Holiday.  We will be toasting all of you as the New Year arrives, because without you we would never have gotten this far.  We are grateful for YOU!

Now... what would you add to the Wish List?  We want to hear your ideas for growing this network.  Sound-off Blogstresses!

Thanks!

  1. I really would like to see us support each others blogs more. I like how SITS encourages bloggers to make comments on the featured blogger's site. I've gotten traffic to my site just from leaving a comment.

We don't want to steal their format, but what if once a month we each featured another Blogstress's blog at the end of a post on our own blogs?

The verbiage could be something like:
As a member of The Blogstress Network, I am excited to introduce my readers to another great blog on The Network.

Then we write either a description of their blog and the link. Or copy and paste the first paragraph of one of their posts and the link.

The blog you feature should be choosen like a secret santa kinda thing. I'm willing to take on heading up the effort. I'll create a card for each blog that wants to participate, then I'll do a drawing and inform each Blogstress who they've got this month.

It's a great way for us to get to know each others blogs, bring new traffic to our sites and advertise The Blogstress Network - Win Win Win!

    Thoughts?

  2. Love the idea LeAnne! Let's discuss the concept a little further at our Jan. meeting. I also want to discuss virtual meetings using Skype and/or Twitter.
    Thanks for a great idea!

Anyone else like to contribute to growth ideas? We are open!
